Agreement to Terms
By accessing and using Colorado Door Store's website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
Services Provided
Colorado Door Store provides:
- Door installation quote generation services
- Professional door installation and replacement
- Product selection and consultation
- In-home measurement and assessment
- Project management and coordination
- Customer support and communication
Quote Process
Initial Quotes: Quotes provided through our online platform are estimates based on the information and photos you provide. Final pricing may vary after an in-home measurement and assessment.
Accuracy: While we strive for accuracy, quotes are subject to change based on actual site conditions, measurements, and unforeseen complications.
Validity: Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise specified.
Payment Terms
Deposit: A $50 deposit may be required to schedule an in-home consultation. This deposit is fully credited toward your project total.
Payment Schedule: Final payment terms will be outlined in your project agreement. Payment is typically required upon project completion.
Payment Methods: We accept payments through Stripe, including major credit cards and other electronic payment methods.
Cancellation & Refunds
Before Work Begins: You may cancel your project before work begins for a full refund of any payments made.
After Work Begins: If you cancel after installation has started, you will be responsible for materials purchased and work completed.
Rescheduling: We request at least 24 hours notice for rescheduling appointments. Multiple reschedules may result in fees.
Installation & Warranties
Workmanship Warranty: We warranty our installation workmanship for one year from the date of completion.
Product Warranties: Product warranties are provided by the manufacturer and terms vary by product. We will assist with warranty claims.
Site Conditions: Additional charges may apply if unexpected conditions are discovered during installation (e.g., structural issues, rot, code violations).
Customer Responsibilities
As a customer, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information and measurements
- Ensure access to the installation site
- Clear the work area of obstacles and valuables
- Secure pets during installation
- Obtain any necessary HOA or building permits
- Be present or designate someone for final inspection
Limitation of Liability
Colorado Door Store and its installers are not liable for damages beyond the cost of the installation service. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, hidden defects, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for services.
Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Colorado Door Store or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express permission.
Prohibited Uses
You may not use our services to:
- Violate any laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Transmit harmful or malicious code
- Impersonate others or provide false information
- Interfere with our services or systems
- Collect user data without permission
Dispute Resolution
Initial Contact: If you have a concern, please contact us first. We're committed to resolving issues amicably.
Mediation: If we cannot resolve a dispute directly, we agree to attempt mediation before pursuing legal action.
Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. Any disputes will be resolved in Colorado courts.
Referral Program
Our referral program rewards customers who refer new clients. Referral bonuses are subject to terms and conditions that will be provided upon participation. Bonuses are paid only after the referred project is completed and paid in full.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
