Repair it or replace it?
Most pocket doors are worth repairing. If the frame inside the wall is straight and the door itself is in good shape, new rollers and a proper adjustment will give you years more use for a fraction of what a replacement costs.
Replacement makes more sense when the in-wall frame is bent or racked, when the original hardware is a discontinued proprietary system with no parts available, or when the door itself is damaged, delaminating, or you simply want a different style. In those cases we will tell you plainly, and the service call fee goes toward the replacement if you decide to move ahead with us.

Common questions
Do you have to open the wall to fix a pocket door?
Usually not. Most pocket door hardware can be reached by removing the door and the edge trim, which comes off and goes back on cleanly. Opening the wall is only necessary when the in-wall track itself has to be replaced, and we tell you before any of that starts.
How much does pocket door repair cost?
A flat $349 service call covers diagnosis, adjustment, and standard roller and guide hardware. If the door needs in-wall track replacement, we stop and quote that separately rather than billing you for surprise work.
How long does the visit take?
Plan on one to two hours for a typical repair. Simple alignment work can be quicker; a full roller and guide replacement on an older door takes longer.
What if the door cannot be fixed in one visit?
If we need a part we do not carry, we will get it ordered and come back. You pay the one service call, not two.
Do you repair commercial pocket doors?
No. We are a residential company and we would rather point you somewhere better suited than take a job we are not the right fit for.
